How can levels of competences in Visual Literacy (Bildkompetenz) be measured?

For the first step it was decided to select the most relevant sub-competencies, to redraft the (already existing), respective performance level descriptions and then to formulate items to assess these competencies.

The research project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education, is carried out by Hochschule Doepfer and German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF)

Looking back: Preparatory meetings with the Austrian “Bundesinstitut Bildungsforschung, Innovation und Entwicklung (BIFIE)“ took place in Salzburg in 2016.
