Competence Structure Model
This model is the centerpiece of the “European Framework of Reference for Visual Literacy “. The model emphasizes on the one hand the relationship between knowledge, skills / abilities and attitudes. Moreover, it shows the relationship between self, professional, social and methodological skills. However, the most central moment of the model is the representation of the subject specific competences with the framing by metacognition.
